Sinclair Conference Center (Building 12)

The 2018 Regional Secondary Transition & Accessibility Fair is March 22, 2018 at Sinclair College Conference Center in Dayton. The goal of the Transition Fair is to improve accessibility to college, employment and life after high school for area students with IEPs and 504 Plans by bringing a multitude of resources together in one convenient place.

Each year the Transition Fair highlights many education and community resources that are available to plan for and support life after high school. Informational sessions and discussion panels are held by representatives from area school districts, colleges & agencies. Students, their families and educators will discover a wealth of information and resources designed to support students in the transition from school to adult life and help students reach their life goals. Information is geared to residents of Clark, Darke, Greene, Miami, Montgomery and Preble counties, but all are welcome.

The purpose of this event is to provide an awareness of potential community resources for families and educators of Middle and High School age youth with IEPs and 504 Plans. Agencies who may support the development and refinement of student plans for living, earning, and learning after leaving high school are encouraged to join us.

This FREE event is sponsored by State Support Team 10 in collaboration with its Regional Transition Council and Parent Advisory Council and the following:

Montgomery County Board of Developmental Disabilities Services

Greene County Board of Developmental Disabilities

Sinclair College Accessibility Services.

Registration will be open in January! (Advanced registration is encouraged, but not required to attend. Attendees who have registered in advance will be eligible for a special door prize!)
