CFMF announces a new Executive Director

After dedicating over twenty years to Community Fund Management Foundation, Karen Ausprunk, Esq., is retiring from her position as Executive Director.

Karen has led this organization through many changes over the past two decades. What began as a single employee, part-time position has developed into an organization with a full-time Executive Director, two Associate Directors located in Central and Southern Ohio, and full-time and part-time staff. CFMF maintains almost three thousand trusts with a combined value of approximately $70 million. Trust beneficiaries currently reside in eighty of Ohio’s eighty-eight counties. The growth experienced by CFMF would not have happened without Karen’s vision and dedication.

In order to serve our clients with the confidence they are accustomed to receiving, CFMF is pleased to welcome Amanda M. Buzo, Esq., as our Executive Director. Amanda has dedicated her legal career to advising the elder population and clients with special needs, starting with her graduation from The Ohio State University with her B.S. in financial management and focusing her law school curriculum and post-graduation employment on trusts, probate, guardianship, special needs, elder law, and disability-related issues.

We are confident that thanks to Karen and Amanda, as well as the Board and the wonderful staff at CFMF, this transition will be seamless. Community Fund Management Foundation is excited about its future and the opportunity to continue to serve people with disabilities in Ohio.
